最終更新: 2026-07-22

Co-op Modes

Online Co-op (2--4 players)

Play with friends or matchmake with others worldwide. Requires a Nintendo Switch Online membership. All story missions and raid bosses are available online.

Local Wireless (2--4 players)

Each player needs their own Nintendo Switch 2 and a copy of the game. No internet required. Full story and raid content available.

Split-Screen (2 players)

Two players on one console with horizontal split-screen. Story missions only — raid bosses require full-size screens.

How to Start Online Co-op

  1. Complete the tutorial island (Chapter 1) to unlock co-op.
  2. Visit The Outpost and interact with the co-op terminal.
  3. Choose "Create Room" or "Join Room".
  4. Share the room code with friends, or open the room for matchmaking.
  5. The host selects the mission or exploration area.

Nintendo Switch Online Requirement

Online co-op requires Nintendo Switch Online (Individual: $3.99/month, $19.99/year; Family: $34.99/year for up to 8 accounts). Local wireless and split-screen do not require NSO.

Troubleshooting

Cannot connect to friends?

  • Ensure both players have completed the tutorial island.
  • Check that NSO membership is active and not expired.
  • Both players must be on the same game version — check for updates.
  • NAT type B or A recommended. NAT type D may prevent connections.

Lag or disconnection?

  • Use a wired connection via USB-C LAN adapter for best stability.
  • Close other bandwidth-heavy applications on your network.
  • The host connection quality affects all players.
