Amiibo in Splatoon Raiders
Splatoon Raiders supports amiibo for cosmetic unlocks only: no gameplay power, no stat boosts. Three new Deep Cut amiibo launched alongside the game, and older Splatoon series amiibo are also compatible. Amiibo are not required to complete the game.
New Deep Cut Amiibo (July 23, 2026)
Three new amiibo featuring Shiver, Frye, and Big Man in their Raiders designs. Each unlocks a character-inspired outfit for the Mechanic.

Older Splatoon Amiibo
Amiibo from previous Splatoon games are compatible with Raiders. According to Nintendo Japan, they unlock "Bait Waders" (バイトウェーダー). A complete per-figure compatibility chart has not been published yet.
Important: don't assume older amiibo give the same rewards as in Splatoon 3. Nintendo has not confirmed whether rewards carry over figure-by-figure.
How to Use Amiibo
- Return to the Hideout Ship.
- Find the amiibo terminal (near the crew area).
- Tap the amiibo to the NFC touchpoint on your controller.
- The outfit unlocks immediately and can be equipped from the wardrobe.
FAQ
Do amiibo give gameplay advantages?
No. All amiibo rewards are cosmetic (outfits). No stat boosts or gameplay power.
Can I scan the same amiibo multiple times?
Each amiibo unlocks its reward once per save file.
Do non-Splatoon amiibo work?
Not confirmed. Only Splatoon series amiibo have been verified as compatible.
Is the trio set cheaper than buying individually?
In Japan: set is ¥8,500 vs ¥8,500 individually (same). In the US, no official bundle has been announced.
