How Do Relics Work?
Relics are the treasure collection at the heart of Splatoon Raiders' endgame. There are 88 in total, and they come from the treasure chests that appear when you clear dungeons. Every relic carries a Relic Power, a passive effect for your tank, and a listed value in Spirhalite Shards that feeds directly into your title rank.
- 88 relics total, found in dungeon-clear treasure chests across the Spirhalite Islands.
- You can browse the collection with Big Man at the hoard aboard the Hideout Ship.
- Relic Powers come in 3 grades (◆ to ◆◆◆). Higher grades drop in the Bottomless Buffet.
- Some powers work on any tank; others only trigger on a specific tank type.
What Are the Relic Power Categories?
Relic Powers split into four categories: Any Tank, Speed Tank, Power Tank, and Tactical Tank (JP: 汎用 / スピード / パワー / テクニカル). Community sources report that equip slots grow from 1 up to 5 as you progress, so treat that cap as reported rather than confirmed, since the JP wikis have not stated it directly.
- Example: Lifesaver: HP recovers 10% faster, and you recover from danger 10% faster.
- Example: Long Range: +15% damage to far-off Salmonids.
- Tank-specific powers only trigger while riding that tank type, so check the category before building around one.
How Does Relic Fusion Work?
After you finish a stage, a newly found relic can automatically combine with one you already own, producing a new relic with a stronger power and a higher listed value. Fusion is doubly valuable: the power gets better, and the increased value pushes your title meter (below) at the same time.
Which Relic Powers Are Best?
The two biggest wikis currently disagree about the top of the meta, which is worth knowing before you commit upgrades:
| Source | SS-tier picks | Core idea |
|---|---|---|
| GameWith (JP, Jul 31) | Gadget Boost family (Speed / Fly / Finisher), Heat Up, Infight, Technical Master, Power Master | Gadget-cooldown loops: keep your gadgets cycling near-permanently. |
| Game8 (EN, Jul 30) | Showstopper Power (+12% ult gauge fill at max stars), Power Pro (attack up for 9s after diving into ink) | Burst windows: spam Frye's Showstopper and fight out of ink dives. |
Game8 EN's S+ row backs the burst plan with Ink Pro, Gadget Recovery (Submerge), Concentrated Attack, Damage Up, Long Range, and Tactical Pro. Both approaches clear endgame content, so pick the one that matches how you already play, and remember tier lists this early shift week to week.
What Is the Legendary Loot (Relic #88)?
The final relic, Legendary Loot (伝説のオタカラ), comes from the chest that appears after you defeat the boss on floor 100 of the Bottomless Buffet.
- Listed value: 40,000,394,249 Spirhalite Shards, roughly half the road to the top title on its own.
- Its power, Endless Search (終わりなき探求), makes undiscovered Gadget Parts easier to find.
- It equips in its own separate slot, outside the normal Relic Power slots, and works with any tank.
How Do Titles Work?
Your title rank rises with the cumulative value of every relic you have discovered, and each rank permanently boosts how many Spirhalite Shards you earn, topping out at +100%. That makes the relic hunt the single biggest economy upgrade in the game.
| Title (JP) | Shard bonus | Approx. value needed |
|---|---|---|
| 不時着した遭難者Crash-landed Castaway | +0% | Start |
| サバイバル初心者Survival Novice | +10% | ~1M |
| ガラクタ収集家Junk Collector | +20% | ~3M |
| 将来有望なオタカラ好きPromising Treasure Fan | +30% | ~15M |
| 一人前のオタカラ・ハンターFull-fledged Treasure Hunter | +40% | ~25M |
| ベテラン探検家Veteran Explorer | +50% | ~200M |
| スゴ腕のコレクターAce Collector | +60% | ~450M |
| 百戦錬磨の冒険家Seasoned Adventurer | +70% | ~2B |
| ウズシオ諸島の踏破者Conqueror of the Islands | +80% | ~10B |
| 黄金を求めし者Seeker of Gold | +85% | ~30B |
| バンカラ街の救世主Savior of Splatsville | +90% | ~60B |
| 栄光の億万長者Glorious Billionaire | +95% | ~80B |
| 伝説のレイダーLegendary Raider | +100% | Top rank |
Thresholds are community-measured approximations (GameWith, Jul 31) and may be refined; JP names are the in-game names, English glosses are ours. The shard bonus applies on top of everything else, so climbing even a few ranks early pays for itself quickly.
What Is the Fastest Way to Raise Your Title?
- Clear dungeons you have not finished yet; first-time chests are the steadiest source of new relics.
- Let fusion work for you: fused relics carry higher values, so keep collecting even after powers repeat.
- In the endgame, Bottomless Buffet runs drop random relics and higher-grade powers on top of your farm loot.
- The Legendary Loot alone is worth ~40B, and the floor-100 run is also the biggest single title jump in the game.
- Completing all 88 relics rewards the Pilot Suit (パイロットスーツ) gear.
