Released July 22, 2026 (day-one update)

Patch notes
Ver. 1.1.0
Day-one update2026-07-22- Adjusted the music that plays in certain scenes.
- Several other fixes to improve the overall gameplay experience.
Version requirements for multiplayer
The latest update is required to use online features. For local wireless and LAN play, every player must be on the same version — a patched game cannot connect to an unpatched one, so update all consoles before a group session.
How to update the game
- Updates download automatically when your Switch 2 is online and in sleep mode.
- To force a check: highlight Splatoon Raiders on the Home Menu, press the Options button, and choose Software Update → Via the Internet.
- For local co-op without internet, Software Update → Match Version with Local Users copies the newer version between consoles.
Future updates & DLC

Update FAQ
Is there a day-one patch for Splatoon Raiders?
Yes — Ver. 1.1.0 released on July 22, 2026, one day before launch. It adjusts music in certain scenes and fixes several bugs. If you played at launch, you almost certainly already have it.
Why can’t I play local wireless with my friend?
Version mismatch is the most common cause: all players must be on the same version. Have everyone run a software update (or use Match Version with Local Users), then retry.
Do updates cost anything or require Nintendo Switch Online?
Software updates are free and do not require a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Online co-op play does require NSO, plus clearing the first three raids in the story.
