The Spirhalite Islands

The Spirhalite Islands are a recently emerged tropical archipelago, your overworld in Splatoon Raiders. You crash-land here with Deep Cut and set up the Hideout Ship as your base. Each island has multiple dungeons, open areas to explore, and unique environmental hazards.

All 25 Islands

The archipelago holds 22 world islands plus three post-game islands that appear with the Hidden Ruins. Every island is themed on one food; its name is a scrambled food word in both English and Japanese, and its stages riff on the same dish. Islands unlock roughly in the order below as you progress and upgrade the Hideout Ship.

Environment Types

The islands feature a variety of environments, each with unique hazards and exploration challenges:

  • Sandy beaches: open areas, good visibility, early-game difficulty
  • Coastal seaways: narrow paths, water hazards, tidal mechanics
  • Underground ruins: multi-floor dungeons, dark areas, Seasoned Salmonids
  • Volcanic regions: lava hazards, fire-type enemies
  • Frozen tundras: ice physics, slippery terrain, blizzard events
  • Wetlands and swamps: reduced mobility, sludge terrain
  • Mountainous paths: elevation changes, verticality, wind effects

Exploration Mechanics

The overworld between dungeons is open for exploration. Key things to know:

  • Ink surfaces to move faster and reveal hidden items
  • Some areas require specific tank abilities to access, so revisit after upgrades
  • Dungeons are entered from the overworld and have their own internal layouts
  • The in-game map tracks which dungeons you've cleared and collectible progress per zone
  • Fast travel unlocks between islands as you progress

Exploration Tips

  • Ink every surface: hidden treasures, shortcuts, and secret dungeon entrances are often concealed.
  • Return to earlier islands after unlocking new abilities to access previously blocked areas.
  • The Hideout Ship is always accessible from any island via the map.
  • Each island's difficulty scales with progression. Revisiting at higher levels rewards better loot.
  • Co-op exploration shares discoveries: if one player finds a secret, the whole party benefits.

What this page is, and what it is not

This is the island layer: all 25 islands, their environments, and which dungeons sit on each. The stage layer underneath it is published in full too: all 61 main-game dungeons with Salmonid levels and matched English–Japanese names. What we do not publish is hand-drawn annotated maps with collectible pins on them. Nobody has released map data for this game, so those maps would be someone's memory redrawn as a diagram, and a wrong pin costs you a run. Where routes are genuinely verifiable, the farming loops with published clear times, are in the items and farming guides instead.

Island roster and English names: Game8's dungeon table, independently attested by Inkipedia; Japanese names and food etymologies: Game8 JP's name-origins page (all checked August 4, 2026). Environment types: Nintendo Direct overview trailer, hands-on previews (Checkpoint Gaming). Correction (Aug 4): earlier versions of this page listed five islands with an unattested "Zaipz"; the attested English name is Zapiz, and the full roster is 25.
